Britannia Bay is approximately 90 minutes and 180kms drive from Cape Town, along the Golden mile of stunning beaches and farmland.

It is the only place where the Sun rises over the sea and sets over the sea! 

Britannia Bay has been developed over the last two years, and is becoming a sought after destination.

There are lovely restaurants in the area and you will love this quiet little town.

The Boardwalk beach cottage is for getting away from the concrete jungle, where you can rest and hike along the pretty sandy beaches. Boasting breathtaking views, this affordable beachouse and cottage is a stone's throw away from the beach.

From the cottage/house you can stroll onto the golden dunes of Britannia Bay, and dip your toes into our Atlantic Ocean, warm your feet on the soft sand. This area is rich with local fynbos, birds and tortoises. There’s plenty of activity for children, canoeing, body boarding, and building sandcastles.

Boardwalks’ accommodation offers magnificent views of the bay where you can often spot Humpback Whales and Dolphins between August and December.
